Manchester United Football Club
Increasingly unlikely to activate
Amrabat
Buyout clause in contract. Amrabat's agent appeared in Manchester on Tuesday for talks with the club. As things stand, it seems increasingly unlikely that United will activate the £21.4 million buyout clause in his contract. Previously, United had paid Fiorentina £8.5 million for the loan.
Amrabat has made very limited appearances for United this season, making only 14 starts and even being put on temporary substitution at left-back at one point. The 27-year-old Moroccan international has caught the attention of some Saudi teams and could be heading to the Middle East to play at the end of the season.
