In the 29th round of Ligue 1 on April 15, 2024, Lyon hosted Brest in an exciting match. In the end, Lyon narrowly beat Brest 4-3, with Tolisso and Lacazette scoring, and Niles killing the opponent with a penalty late in the game.

The match started off with both teams quickly getting into the swing of things, and the pace on the pitch was tense and intense. Lyon took the lead in the 18th minute when Tolisso capitalized on a melee in the box and slotted the ball into the goal to give Lyon the lead. However, Brest did not let this discourage them as they looked for a breakthrough through aggressive offense.

In the 60th minute, the Brewers' Steve Moune capitalized on an opportunity to tie the game. Immediately after, Román Castillo scored two goals in the 64th and 67th minutes to help the Brest team go back on top. Facing a deficit, Lyon did not give up as they stepped up their offense in an attempt to get back in the game.

Lacazette's goal in the 70th minute equalized the game for Lyon. In the 79th minute, Taliafico scored another goal to tie the game at 3-3. At this point, the game went into a white-hot phase, with players from both sides putting in their best efforts to try and score a goal before the end of the match.

In the final stage of the game, Lyon team was given a penalty kick opportunity. Niles, as the penalty taker, calmly put the ball into the net, killing off the opponent for Lyon. The goal brought the whole stadium to its feet, and Lyon won the match with a score of 4-3.
