The La Liga showdown between Real Sociedad and Almería was a great deal of fun, with both sides going back and forth to provide fans with an exciting match.
Almeria took the lead in only the 30th minute, when Embarba scored with a low one-touch shot from the penalty area, putting Real Sociedad 0-1 down. However, Real Sociedad didn't let this discourage them, and just two minutes later, Becker kicked the ball into the goal in the penalty area, and Real Sociedad quickly equalized the score, 1-1.
In the second half of the game, both sides continued to battle. In the 60th minute, Oyarzaval scored with a shot from the air to give Real Sociedad a 2-1 lead. However, Almeria didn't give up and continued to attack in an attempt to equalize the score. In the 87th minute, a Real Sociedad player was sent off with a red card for a foul and Almeria were awarded a penalty kick. Embarba stepped up again and calmly scored the penalty, Almeria managed to equalize the score, 2-2.
