Yesterday afternoon, Shanghai Harbour Club officially announced the team's main center back Shi Ke joined Shandong Taishan Club this season.

At the beginning of 2015, Shi Ke, only 22 years old and captain of the national Olympic team, transferred from Zhejiang Greentown to then Shanghai SIPG for 20 million RMB. As an important reinforcement in the team's backline, Shi Ke has been the team's main center back since his first season with the team.

In the 2018 season, in former manager Pereira's 442 system, Shi Ke and He Hubu teamed up with the double center backs and performed well, lifting the first Chinese Super League trophy in the club's history with their teammates. At the beginning of 2019, Pereira tried the three center backs system, and Shi Ke is still a member of the team's starting lineup.

Shi Ke did not travel with the team to Doha for the AFC Champions League in the final stages of last season due to injury. His last appearance for Harbour was against Beijing Guoan in the first leg of last year's Chinese Super League (CSL) third-fourth place playoff.

In six seasons, Shi Ke has played a total of 180 matches for the team in all competitions, not only the backbone of the team's defense, but also contributed three goals and four assists.

With new manager Leko in charge of Harbour, his three centre-back system will need to be well-stocked at the centre-back position.

Now it seems that with the arrival of new foreign center back Mystorovic, Shi Ke's departure will not have much of an impact.

Mysztorowicz will be able to be released from his entry quarantine this weekend and participate in team practices.

The starting position of the three center backs in the new season of Harbour Team is basically Maistorovic, He Jiao, Wei Zhen, Yu Rui and Yu Hai, three out of five. The two wingbacks, Stanley Wong and Fu Huan, are also very experienced in playing as center backs in their matches. In addition, Zhu Jiayi, a young 22-year-old center back with a height of 1.92 meters, was sent out on loan to Inner Mongolia Zhongyou in the Central League last season and played for the Harbor team in last year's AFC Cup. He is currently training with the first team and being scouted by the coaching staff. Further down the Harbour 04 ladder is 17-year-old Xiang Rongjun, the club's main defender for the national junior team. The tall hopeful has similar stylistic traits to his idol, Real Madrid star Ramos, and is capable of playing as both a center back and a wing back.
