Representatives of Manchester United have met with Mond during his loan spell. Ten Hahn said that the differences between him and Sancho will be resolved at the end of the season. Sancho has not featured for United since his run-in with Ten Hahn last August. Ten Hahn claimed that Sancho's performance in training was not up to standard, which Sancho disputed on Twitter, calling Ten Hahn a liar. After Sancho refused to apologize, he was left off the squad list by Ten Hahn.
Sancho was one of Dortmund's top performers in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final, helping his side beat Paris 1-0
St. Germain. In an interview, Ten Hahn was asked if Sancho would return to United if he apologized. Ten Hahn said, "We are working on this issue, we are watching Sancho in the game and he is really doing well at Dort. We have met and spoken to him and we will continue with the process. We did have a disagreement before, but the most important thing now is to finish the season. We have some important games in the league and the FA Cup at the moment, so let's see what happens."
