In an interview with Arab media outlet Al-Mayadeen gave some thoughts on Barcelona's present and past, including thoughts on Laporta, Bartomeu, the Negrera case and other current issues.

Regarding his relationship with Laporta, Rosell said that he last saw Laporta when the latter took over the team and has not seen or interacted with him since. He mentioned that Laporta currently manages the club differently than in the past and that he doesn't know much about the club's financial situation.

When asked if this is the worst period in Barcelona's history, Rosell thinks not, especially from a financial point of view. He pointed out that if the media reports of bankruptcy were true, then financially the situation could be the worst, but that hasn't been the case for a long time.

On whether he intends to return to the presidency of Barcelona, Rosell said no, but he also emphasized the point that "never say 'never'".

Speaking about Bartomeu, Rosell mentioned that he is the second most winning president in Barcelona's history, but if you look at the number of titles relative to the number of years in office, he would probably come in second.

Regarding Barcelona's relationship with Negrera, Rosell believes that it is normal for Negrera to prepare referee reports as a refereeing committee member, and prepares around 100 reports a year. He also revealed Negrera's annual salary.

Finally, Rosell confirmed the cost of signing Neymar at €57.1 million.
