Team HC shortlist.
Kuntz said: "I am very disappointed that nothing has come of it. I played with Bierhoff at Ubdingen with Germany and we won the European Cup together in 1996. I was also successful as a coach with Germany U21 and won the U21 European Cup. So I hope, of course, that he will talk to me. If Bierhoff says that I'm on the list, but there are one or two other candidates. Then if someone else gets the job and makes everything okay, that's no problem."
On Germany boss Nagelsmann, Kuntz said, "Nagelsmann as Frick's successor is completely understandable and in my opinion it's a win-win situation, Nagelsmann has a lot to offer the team."
