According to an interview with The Ball, Union Berlin defender
Diogo Wright
reveals his views on the future and on the AC
Milan (Italy)
Expressed praise. Milan are considering bringing in the defensively solid Portuguese defender to bolster the team's backline.
In an interview, Wright said, "I prefer to focus on the moment, right now I'm a Union Berlin player and I'm doing my best to help the team achieve its goals. Of course, if offers are received that are good for the club and for me, let's wait and see and soon we will decide what is best for both of us to do."
Wright also spoke highly of the Milan club: "Milan is a big club and everyone knows that they are one of the most prestigious teams in Europe. Whenever another team is interested in you, it's a good thing, it proves that your work pays off, it shows that you're doing a good job and it makes you more motivated to work. I do my best every day and focus on the moment. What will happen in the future, we'll find out soon enough."
Milan's reinforcement plan is underway and the arrival of Diogo Leite is expected to bring more stability and experience to the team's defense. Milan fans are looking forward to seeing the club achieve better results in the upcoming season, and the addition of Wright is certainly a major step forward in their expectations.
