In a recent interview with an Argentinean radio station, Argentine national team midfielder McAllister gave his opinion on the recent furor over Enzo Fernandez's racial discrimination. In the interview, McAllister emphasized the importance of being careful with one's words and actions, and expressed his understanding and support for Enzo's behavior.

McAllister began by pointing out that in Europe, people are far more sensitive to sensitive topics such as racial discrimination than in Argentina. He emphasized, "You have to be careful what you say, especially in Europe, where they are much more sensitive than people here." This observation reflects the differences in acceptance and sensitivity to certain topics in different cultural contexts.

In response to Enzo's racism controversy, McAllister said, "The reality is that we're not a racist country and we're not used to talking about racism too much." He believes that Argentine society as a whole does not have a serious problem with racism, so people may be less sensitive to such topics.

However, McAllister also acknowledged that Enzo's comments did cause controversy and resentment. However, he believes that Enzo has apologized for it and explained what happened, so there is no need to dwell on it too much. "Enzo has apologized and explained what has happened, and I don't think there's anything more to say." McAllister said.

He further stated that he knows Enzo as a person and knows that he didn't say what he said out of malice or racist tendencies. "We know Enzo, we know he would never do it out of malice, he's not that kind of person." McAllister said, "It was really just a slogan, more of a mocking tone. But like I said, you have to be very careful when it comes to things like that."

Finally, McAllister stressed the importance of Enzo taking responsibility and apologizing. "I think the most important thing is that Enzo stepped up and apologized accordingly, and that should ultimately be taken seriously." He believes that Enzo's actions show maturity and responsibility, qualities that he should possess as a player and public figure.
