In a recent interview, Real Betis defender Bellerin not only expressed his pride and joy in the Spanish national team's victory at the Europa League, but also shared his well wishes for Argentina's Copa America win, as well as his anticipation for the upcoming pre-season training together.
On Spain's Euro win, Bellerin said, "I would like to send my warmest congratulations to all the Spanish internationals, especially Ayoze! Although not many people on social media were optimistic about Spain before the start of the tournament, I was always convinced that Spain could at least reach the final. I know the strengths of these players, many of whom are at the peak of their careers and possess an extremely high level of athleticism. Young players such as Nico and Yamal are even more impressive, not only have they collected trophies, but they have also gained invaluable experience, which is vital for their development."
Speaking about Argentina's Copa America win, Bellerin also showed his heartfelt joy: "Pezzella and Guido Rodriguez are both important members of the Argentine team, and I'm very happy to see them win the title. I also made a point of congratulating Pezzella today, they played some fantastic soccer and they deserved this title. I am sincerely happy for their success."
Bellerin is looking forward to the upcoming pre-season training: "Pre-season training is always exciting, all the players are full of passion. This is the first time I've participated in a full pre-season training session with Real Betis, and the feeling of nervousness and excitement makes me appreciate every training opportunity even more. I'm very happy to see my teammates like Juanmi and Iglesias again. We still have a month to go before the new season and will work gradually on our recovery training to be fully prepared for the new season."
When asked if he enjoys pre-season, Bellerin said, "Although everyone has different preferences for training, pre-season is something that everyone likes to be involved in. Even though it's more of a friendly nature, everyone wants to give it their all, get back into game shape and prove themselves to the coach. Pre-season not only helps us get into the rhythm of the game, it also prepares us physically and mentally. Real Betis' players are competitive and everyone is eager to make their debut in the new season. The newcomers have also adapted well, they have quickly integrated into the team, making it difficult to tell who is a veteran and who is new."
