In the one-eighth final of the F.A.C.A. Cup on July 17th, Zhejiang lost to Shanghai Seaport with 1-2, and had no chance to go further. After the match, Zhejiang head coach Qiaodi attended a press conference to summarize the match and answer reporters' questions.

Jordy began by recognizing his team's performance, "I would like to congratulate our team today, even though the result wasn't as good as we would have liked, we created a lot of chances in the game, which proves that we are capable of doing better and deserve a better result. Playing against a strong team like Shanghai Seaport many times, there are indeed many uncertainties and unfair factors, but our players have always maintained their hustle and fighting spirit, and I am proud of them."

When asked by a reporter about Spain's thoughts on winning the European Cup, Jordy took the opportunity to emphasize the importance of team spirit: "Spain's victory in the European Cup once again proved that soccer is a team sport. Everyone should understand that no matter how good the individual skills are, without teamwork and cooperation, it is impossible to win the honor. This is also the concept I have always instilled in my players, we have to become a united whole and fight for victory together."

On whether the FA Cup exit means the team can devote more energy to the Super League and AFC Champions League, Jordy expressed his regret and helplessness: "Of course we hope to advance to the next round of the FA Cup, because we deserve such a chance. But soccer is like that sometimes, it's not always fair. Nevertheless, we will not give up our desire for victory and our pursuit of honor. We will take this defeat as a valuable experience and learn from it to be better prepared for the next matches."
