will not be traveling with the team to the United States for pre-season. Arsenal have begun their preparations for the new season, with Ödgörn and six other players who did not play in the big games already back in training.
Arsenal will fly to the United States this Sunday to face Bournemouth and Manchester United on July 24th and 27th respectively, and Liverpool on July 31st. Youngsters Nwaneri and Miles Lewis-Skelly are expected to travel with the team to the US, as are Nelson and Nketiah.
Players such as Havertz and Jorginho, who played in the Europa League, will not be traveling with the team to the U.S. on Sunday, and they are expected to rejoin the squad at a later date. And Rice, Saka, Ramsdale and Raya, who played in the Europa League final, will get plenty of rest and will not travel to the United States.
It remains to be seen whether Smith Rowe comes with the squad, with Crystal Palace and Fulham reportedly showing interest in the midfielder.
