At the end of June, Real Madrid officially announced the transfer of Joselu to join Qatari club Al Gharafa Sports. The 34-year-old Spanish striker is reported to have signed a two-year deal with Garafa Sports, plus a one-year extension option, with the player earning around €8 million a year.
Joselu joined Real Madrid on loan from Espanyol last summer. In the 2023/2024 season, Joselu played 49 matches for Real Madrid, contributing 17 goals and 3 assists, helping the team win the La Liga, UEFA Champions League and Spanish Super Cup. He won the recently concluded UEFA Europa League with the Spanish national team.
Joselu had a great season at Real Madrid, earning recognition from the team and the fans.
