Rakitic will sign until June 2026 to join Hajduk. Behind this decision, Hajduk's boss Gattuso, club director Kalinic and teammate Perisic have all played a major role in attracting Rakitic back to Croatia.
Rakitic, 36, originally had a contract with Riyadh Youth that expired in 2025. After joining the club in the middle of last season, he appeared in eight games for the team, scoring one goal and dishing out one assist.
