and stalled. The two clubs failed to agree on the bargaining chips for the deal, causing the transfer to stall.
For their part, Bologna are looking to secure a £46m transfer fee from Carafiore, but if the fee exceeds £3.4m, they will have to split the profits from the deal with Basel. Currently, Arsenal have bid £37m for Calafiore and are looking to cut costs with Kiviol as part of the deal. However, Kivior was reluctant to join Bologna, which has stalled the deal.
Bologna are keen to sign Kivior, but a number of teams, including AC Milan, are also showing interest in him at the moment. Arsenal, for their part, are hoping to profit from Kiviol's transfer when they spent £17.6 million to sign him.
The current impasse has stalled progress on Carafiore's transfer and both clubs need to continue negotiations to find a solution.
