A deal to move to Riyadh Victory ultimately failed to materialize.
Earlier, Szczesny and Riyadh Victory reached an agreement in principle on a two-year contract that will see the player earn an annual salary of €19 million. However, despite progress in talks between Riyadh Victory and Juventus last month, the two sides failed to agree on a transfer fee.
Szczesny currently has one year left on his contract with Juventus. With the transfer failing to materialize, Szczesny plans to remain at Juventus for the upcoming season.
Szczesny has been the team's starting goalkeeper since joining Juventus in 2017 and has shown excellent performances over a number of seasons. Although the move did not go as planned, Szczesny will remain an important part of the Juventus defense.
