(N'Golo Kanté) brought back to the Premier League from Jeddah United in Saudi Arabia.
Kante left Chelsea for Jeddah United in 2023. Now, West Ham are in talks with Jeddah United and all parties are willing to complete the deal. Kante is said to be open to a return to London, but West Ham would need to pay a transfer fee of £20 million.
West Ham boss Julen Lopetegui has always admired Kante and had previously wanted to sign the France international when he was briefly in charge of Real Madrid. West Ham are desperate to bring in a strong back-rower to bolster their defensive midfield after Phillips' performance fell short of expectations.
In addition, West Ham had previously shown interest in Spanish midfielder Alex Garcia, but the latter has decided to move to Leverkusen.
