According to Marca, Portuguese winger Joao

Felix

(João Félix) has just one week left to find a new club or he will have to return to Atlético de Madrid for pre-season training.

Atletico Madrid (soccer team)

's pre-season training will begin on July 26, and Felix is grasping at straws to find his next home in order to avoid a return to Atletico Madrid, a scenario that neither the player himself nor the club would like to see.

Felix's agent Jorge Mendes is in contact with a number of teams interested in the Portuguese winger. One of them, Benfica, is interested in re-signing Felix, but Atletico Madrid's asking price of €60 million makes the deal difficult.

It is also possible that Barcelona will renew Felix's loan, but for now, the Portuguese is not Barcelona's first choice. Moreover, Atletico would prefer to sell Felix directly to recover part of the transfer fee.

Felix spent the past season on loan at Chelsea but failed to fully show what he could do, and upon his return to Atletico Madrid, he will need to find a suitable home for him as soon as possible in order to continue his career.
