Club officials have confirmed that Braithwaite has decided to trigger his release clause and leave the club by terminating his contract a year early.
Romano noted that Brathwaite has completed his medical with Olympiacos and has arrived in Athens to sign a contract with the Greek club. In addition, Olympiacos' next new recruit will be Salernitana center back Lorenzo Pirola.
