According to well-known journalist Romano, Greek giants
Olympiacos (Greece)
has finalized the signing of 22-year-old Italian central defender Lorenzo from Salernitana
Pirola
(Lorenzo Pirola) for a transfer fee of 3 million euros.
The deal will see Inter Milan receive a percentage of the second transfer share, as Inter Milan included a second transfer share clause when they sold Pirola to Salernitana for €5 million last summer. Pirola is currently valued at €5.5 million, according to the German transfer website.
Last season, Salernitana finished bottom of Serie A and will be relegated to Serie B in the new season. Pirola's performance in Salernitana has gained the attention of Olympiacos, and the Greek club hopes to strengthen its defense by bringing in the young center back.
