Loaned 26-year-old goalkeeper Dervis Vazquez on a loan deal that includes a buyout option.
Dervis Vazquez joined AC Milan in January 2023 for a transfer fee of €810,000, but he has yet to play for Milan's first team. Since joining, he has been loaned out to Sheffield Wednesday and Ascoli to gain match experience. His contract with AC Milan will run until 2026.
At Empoli, Vazquez will have the opportunity to show his strengths in Serie A in a bid to become the team's starting goalkeeper. Empoli is looking forward to this reinforcement and hopes that Vazquez will bring stability to the team's defense.
