, with both sides signing until 2029. According to a follow-up report from Romano, Savio's transfer fee is a fixed amount of £21 million, plus a variable that brings the total to £33.6 million (about €40 million).

Savio excelled during his loan spell at Girona last season, helping the Spanish side qualify for the Champions League for the first time in their history. He scored 11 goals and contributed 10 assists in 41 appearances, helping Girona finish third behind Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Savio is 20 years old and of Brazilian nationality. He spent last season on loan at Girona by Troyes and made 41 appearances, contributing 11 goals and 10 assists to help his side qualify for the Champions League.
It is worth noting that Troyes, Girona and Manchester City are part of the same City Football Group, which allowed Savio's transfer to go smoothly between the clubs.
