Midfielder Richard Ríos has shown strong interest. Due to Ríos' excellent performances in the league and the Copa America, he has received attention from European and especially Premier League teams.
Currently, Palmeiras is asking between €15 million and €20 million for Rios and has no surprises in renting the midfielder. Rios, 24, from Colombia, plays as a midfielder and his contract with Palmeiras expires in December 2026. He is valued at €5 million according to the German Transfer Market (DFB) website.
Rios made 29 appearances (1,817 total minutes played) for Palmeiras in the 2023-2024 season, contributing 2 goals and 1 assist. Palmeiras owns 70% of Rios, with the rest of the ownership going to Guarani (16%), Flamengo (4%) and the player himself (10%).
Everton and Leicester City are looking to bolster their midfield by bringing in Rios. The 24-year-old Colombian midfielder has performed at a very high level both on the attacking and defensive ends and his addition would provide a significant boost to any team.
