Vieira
is one of the candidates for the USMNT head coach. Romano revealed on social media that no developments or contacts have been made yet, but Vieira is one of the options being discussed, although he is not the only candidate.

After terminating his contract with FC Strasbourg, Vieira is now a free agent. This makes him a target of interest for several teams and national teams.
Vieira played for such big clubs as Arsenal, Juventus and Inter Milan during his playing days and coached New York City, Nice and Strasbourg during his coaching career. His rich coaching experience and deep understanding of soccer make him a strong contender to be the head coach of the U.S. national team.
