According to leading French sports media outlet L'Equipe, Premier League giants
Manchester United Football Club
The soccer club, while actively pursuing transfer negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain over Ugarte, has also set its sights on the free agent in the market - Adrian
Rabio (name)
Special.
In mid-June, Manchester United submitted their first offer for Ugarte to Paris, however, the proposal was not recognized by the Parisian side and the exact amount was not disclosed to the public. It is worth noting that Paris brought in Ugarte from Sporting Portugal last summer at a cost of up to 60 million euros, and now they expect to sell the midfielder for 70 million euros. In the face of Paris' high pricing, United are exploring a more flexible deal model, such as offering a loan package with an easily triggered buyout clause.
As well as Ugarte, United have maintained an ongoing interest in another Parisian player, Javi Simmons, while Paris themselves are in advanced talks with Benfica over bringing in Joao Neves.
In order to raise funds for reinforcements and optimize the structure of the squad, Manchester United are considering selling some of their existing players, of which, McTominay and Casemiro have been listed as possible candidates for departure. It is reported that Casemiro's transfer to Saudi Arabian club Jeddah United has entered a substantial negotiation stage.
While actively clearing out redundancies, Manchester United have not stopped searching for new recruits. They have recently begun to focus on the free agent market and have taken a keen interest in Rabiot, who had a direct exchange with current manager Eric Ten Hahn last year. Rabiot's free-agency status undoubtedly provides United with more options and room for maneuver, making their strategy in the transfer market more diversified.
With the opening of the transfer window, Manchester United's series of reinforcements and sales moves will continue to attract outside attention. Fans are looking forward to the team to complete the ideal reinforcement in the next time to fully prepare for the upcoming season.
