Arsenal got their pre-season tour for the new season off to a good start with a 2-0 win over League One side Leyton Orient in a closed warm-up match. The game saw Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta give ample opportunities for players not participating in the Europa League or Copa America to play, with youngsters Aiden Haven and Miles Lewis-Skilly shining in particular.
In the first half, Arsenal took an early lead through a combination of left wing Lewis Skelly and Reece Nelson, assisted by Nketiah to break the deadlock for Jesus. In the second half, S Lo added a second shortly after coming on as a substitute, with Jesus providing the assist to extend the lead to 2-0.
As the game progressed, Arsenal made a massive rotation, with fresh blood such as Salah Ullad M'Hands coming on to continue the attack. Charles Sagoe's shot forced the opposing goalkeeper into a great save and Arsenal sealed the win 2-0.
The win not only set Arsenal up well for their pre-season tour, but also showed the strength and potential of the team's young players. Solid performances from Aiden Haven and Miles Lewis-Skilly, as well as a substitution from S Law, have raised expectations for Arsenal's new season.
Next stop, Arsenal will move to the United States to meet new challenges. We expect this young and energetic team to achieve excellent results in the new Premier League season and bring more surprises and passion to the fans.
