Manchester United beat Rangers 2-0 in their second warm-up game of the year with a clean sheet, not only showing the team's good pre-season form, but also providing fans with a lot to watch. Head coach Jens Ten Hagar's bold substitution strategy in the midfield, as well as the brilliant performances of the new recruits and veterans, all added color to the victory.

Lenny Yorro: Rising star makes stunning debut

As a rising star who moved to Manchester United from Lille, Lenny Yoro's debut as a center back was undoubtedly the most impressive. His solid and well-coordinated partnership with Evans, especially his ability to push forward on the attacking end, showed a whole new requirement for defenders under Ten Hagar's tactical system. Jolo's long passes were precise and penetrating, creating offensive opportunities for his team on many occasions, while also showing excellent defensive awareness and blocking ability. This debut has undoubtedly given him a good start to his United career.

Amad Diallo: new favorite on the right side, goal tribute

Amad Diallo's performance on the right wing was equally impressive. With his excellent footwork and breakthrough ability, he tore apart the opponent's defense several times and scored a wonderful curling goal before half-time to open the first record for Manchester United. The goal not only showed his individual strength, but also further consolidated his important position in Ten Hagar's tactical system.

Onana: more than stable, still needs to improve

United goalkeeper Onana showed consistent play in the game, neutralizing many of the opponents' shot threats. However, some of his passing errors and lack of confidence in picking up high balls in the second half of the match revealed that he still needs to continue to hone and improve himself in the game. As the last barrier of the team's backline, Onana's performance will directly affect United's season results.

Sancho: The road back, still a work in progress

Sancho made his first appearance since his reconciliation with Ten Hagar, but his performance was relatively uneventful. Although he created one chance and had a shot attempt in the game, he failed to convert it into a goal. For Sancho, he still needs to continue to work hard in the upcoming matches to find his best form and contribute more to United's offensive line.

Zilkzer: return imminent, challenges Hoylund

Although Zirkezer has yet to rejoin the United squad, he will undoubtedly face a huge challenge upon his return. Hedgill's performance in the game has signaled to Zielkirchner that United's forward line is highly competitive and demanding. For Zielkirchner, he will need to come back quickly and show his strengths in order to compete with his teammates such as Hoylund for a place in the starting lineup.
