and Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe
Matta (name)
It's also on their list of draws.
Reports suggest that Roma are beginning to consider other options due to Villarreal's asking price of around €40 million for Solot and the competition Roma will have to face from Fenerbahce in signing Sevilla striker Enesri. Lille striker Jonathan Davie and Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta have become their targets.
If Roma are unable to sell Abraham, then bringing in Mikel Mikhail Mateta would be a low-cost solution to bolster the center forward position. Last season, the 27-year-old Mata made 39 appearances for Crystal Palace, scoring 19 goals and dishing out five assists. His current contract with Crystal Palace expires in 2026.
Roma hope that through these reinforcements, to strengthen the team's forward line strength, for the new season of the various competitions to be fully prepared.
