In an official interview with the club, he reflects on his soccer upbringing and shares his experience playing against some of the top offensive players in the game.
Jolo recalls, "When I was young, a lot of people compared me to Nani because I was as fast as him and I liked the player. For me, it was my goal to become a player like Nani, but it's different now because now I'm a defender! But Nani is really my favorite player."
Yoro, who used to be a striker, said of his transition, "I used to be a striker and now everything is different, but I'm really fast and tall, so I've scored a lot of goals."
Speaking about his favorite offensive player he has faced in his career, Yoro said, "Of course, I really enjoyed playing against Mbappe, it was really, really challenging, so it helped me a lot to improve myself. It's also nice to play against Watkins because he's a strong striker in the Premier League."
Yolo's speed and height allow him to excel on the defensive end, while his confidence in his speed and attacking prowess reflects his all-around character as a defender.
