Sampdoria

Currently suspended from registering new players. Sampdoria finished seventh in Serie B last season, but lost in the promotion playoffs and failed to get promoted. This summer, Sampdoria is ready to continue to reinforce their squad and have already signed four new players: Kodak, Romagnoli, Venuti and Akinzanmiro. However, due to the club's poor financial situation and ongoing debt restructuring program, it is currently prohibited to register new recruits.

La Gazzetta dello Sport states that if Sampdoria fails to resolve its financial problems in a timely manner, the new recruits will not be able to represent the club, and in the worst case scenario, the players will return to their original teams.

In response, Sampdoria FC President Manfredi said, "We are fully aware of the fact that we strictly observe every rule in the relevant areas and absolutely comply with the necessary restrictions. Each and every transfer is submitted in advance to the club's legal department for advice and to ensure maximum transparency and fairness. We have great confidence in the work of the head of the soccer department in the transfer market to date and trust that transfer operations can be completed as quickly as possible. Our club adopted a similar approach to reinforcements in the previous transfer period."

La Gazzetta dello Sport states that the situation is expected to be decided this Thursday. At that time, the Italian Football Federation, Serie A, Serie B and Serie C will meet to better explain and clarify the rule. Currently, in Italy, clubs undergoing debt restructuring face different financial risks and therefore need to obtain approval consent for reinforcements.

Sampdoria's financial problems have brought great challenges to the club, but the club's management is actively seeking a solution to try to lift the ban on reinforcements as soon as possible to ensure competitiveness in the new season. Fans are looking forward to the club overcoming its difficulties and moving forward.
