In a recent interview, Rico Lewis, a member of the England U21 national team, spoke highly of the team's head coach, Casley. Lewis said that Casley is not only a great coach, but also the driving force behind the team playing exciting soccer.
"Coach Casley always emphasized that we wanted to play spectator and offensive soccer," said Lewis, "and every time we traveled with the team, he never failed to remind us that he wanted to see an exciting game. That experience will serve him well as he coaches at a higher level in the future."
Lewis also compared the situation when Southgate took over the England team: "When Southgate took over, he also went through the transition from the youth team to the adult team.
