Bayern Munich made an offer of €55 million for Douai. In contrast, Paris Saint-Germain's offer was slightly lower, with a total price (transfer fee + wages) of around €50 million. Paris are not willing to pay an exorbitant transfer fee for Doué and are more concerned with convincing Doué of the team's plans and his place in the future squad.
Rennes have not set an exact asking price for Doue at the moment and have not responded to any offers. They are happy to see Bayern and Paris engage in a bidding war for the youngster, hoping to get the best out of it.
Doué, whose contract with Rennes expires in 2026, had an outstanding season last season, appearing in 43 games, scoring four goals and dishing out six assists. Doué has not yet made it clear which club he will choose as his next home.
