According to an update from RMC Sport's Hawkins, Paris Saint-Germain Football Club has once again shown its ambition in the transfer market by agreeing on a contract outline with Nigerian striker Osmeen. However, this agreement does not directly secure the signing of Osmeen as transfer talks still need to be deepened with the Napoli club.
Paris Saint-Germain are not short of options for the number 9 at the moment, with Mouani and Gonzalo Ramos both highly-anticipated strikers in the squad, and both have expressed their desire to remain at the club. In order to maintain the confidence of the two strikers, Paris sports consultant Luis Campos personally called them to tell them not to believe the transfer rumors and to make it clear that the club wants them to continue to play for the team.
Nevertheless, Paris Saint-Germain's interest in Osmeen has not waned. They are looking at Osmeen's excellent performances on the pitch and the attacking threat he brings to the team. However, the Napoli side may demand more in the transfer negotiations, especially considering that they want to get rid of the high salary burden that Osmeen received in his last contract extension.
In addition, Napoli have agreed a deal with Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku, further increasing their leverage in the transfer market. For Osmeen, he also has other options, including joining Saudi giants Riyadh Crescent and Premier League rivals Chelsea. All of these options make transfer negotiations more complicated and unpredictable.
