Apart from Bologna, Roma have also shown strong interest in Almeria's right back Purbir. Earlier, after Aston Villa joined the competition for Asignon, Roma decided to shift their target and accelerate the process of bringing in Poubil.
Poupil was born in 2003 and is currently under contract with Almeria until 2029. Despite his long contract, several Serie A teams such as Roma are interested in him. Purbir played for Spain at the recent Paris Olympics and scored a goal against Uzbekistan in a notable performance.
Roma and Poubier's agent have decided to hold a meeting this Thursday, today. The meeting is aimed at exploring the possibility of a transfer for Poubier and speeding up the process of bringing in the young defender.
