Club. The experienced midfielder will play for Jeju United in the new season and make his debut in the K1 League.
Nam Tae-hee, 33, plays as a midfielder and started his career at the Ulsan HD youth academy. He made his professional debut in Valenciennes, France, before joining Qatar League club Lekhwiya in 2012 and then playing for FC Saad. Last summer, Nam Tae-hee joined Yokohama Marinos and played 11 J1 League matches this season, contributing two goals and one assist.
For the national team, Nam Tae-hee has made 53 appearances for the South Korean national team, contributing seven goals. He played with the team at the 2015 Asian Cup and finished second, and also represented the South Korean national Olympic team at the 2012 London Olympics, where he won a bronze medal.
Jeju United officially announced that Nam Tae-hee has joined the team and this will be his first time playing in the K1 League. Nam Tae-hee said about the transfer, "Although this is my first time playing in the K1 League, I'm really happy to start with such a great team like Jeju. I also got a lot of help from my teammates and want to prove with my strength why Jeju United chose me. I also know exactly what the fans want, and I want to reward them with victories on the pitch, so I hope everyone will support me more."
