All-Star Game
In the middle of the game, the USL All-Stars defeated the Mexican League All-Stars 1-4. During the match, star players from both sides were on the field and gave a great game to the fans.
First half:
Shortly after the game started, Beltrame of the Mexican League All-Stars was the first to break through and give his team the lead. Cucho Hernandez of the USL All-Stars then quickly equalized the score. However, Mexican League All-Stars' Idrisi scored again to put Mexican League All-Stars back in the lead before the end of the first half.
Second half:
In the second half, both teams made massive personnel changes. Both Busquets and Alba of the USL All-Stars were replaced. The Mexican League All-Stars' Brunetta and Mesa broke through to further widen the gap. In the end, the USL All-Stars were defeated by the Mexican League All-Stars 1-4.
MLB All-Star Team:
Busquets and Alba made their debuts, contributing experience and solid performances to the team. Cucho Hernandez scored the only goal of the USL All-Star team and shined.
Mexican League All-Star Team:
Bertelame, Idrisi, Brunetta and Mesa each scored a goal for the team, showing great offensive firepower. The debuts of Jonatan dos Santos and Gignac also brought more energy and tactical changes to the team.
The USMNT All-Stars failed to win this game, but the players still deserve recognition for their performance. Especially the addition of Busquets and Alba brings more international experience and technical support to the team.
