In a recent interview with the media, Las Palmas Football Club President Miguel Angel Ramirez commented on a number of aspects of the transfer situation of the team's goalkeeper Valles, his preseason performance and the departure of Koko.

First of all, regarding the transfer of Valles, Ramirez made it clear that Valles' mind is made up and he only wants to return to his youth training parent team, Real Betis. Ramirez suggested that Betis raise its offer to match Las Palmas' asking price, so as to smoothly take Vales away. He emphasized that Vales' loyalty and love for Betis is obvious, and hoped that Betis would cherish this sentiment and not let Vales down or cause unnecessary harm to his career.

While talking about the team's preseason, Ramirez revealed a worrying situation. He said that the team had recently been hit by an infectious disease, with half of the players suffering from fever. Despite this, the players showed resilience and team spirit and persevered to finish the game. Ramirez spoke highly of the players' performance and hoped that they could recover their health as soon as possible and be fully prepared for the upcoming season.

Regarding Koko's departure, Ramirez expressed his regret. He revealed that Las Palmas had hoped to extend Koke's contract, but Koke had his own career plans and goals and eventually chose to leave. Koke's transfer fee was €7.5 million, but Las Palmas will have to wait four years to receive the full amount. Ramirez praised Koke's professional attitude and wished him continued success at his new club.

Finally, Ramirez re-emphasized the importance the team places on Valles and his desire to retain him. He said that despite the fact that Marseille and other clubs offered Vales a higher salary package, Vales still insisted on returning to Betis. Ramirez admired this deep affection for his home team and hoped that Betis would act quickly to complete the transfer of Valles.
