Recently, TA conducted a comprehensive review of the beginning and end of the Greenwood incident involving Manchester United's former player, revealing the complex process and multiple considerations of Manchester United in dealing with this sensitive incident.

Last year, the United hierarchy, led by chief executive Arnold, developed a detailed plan to prepare for Greenwood's return to the team. This plan not only included a pre-plan to deal with possible public opinion against it, but also planned in detail the strategy of how Ten Hagar would respond to the relevant questions in the press conference, as well as the type of player photos to be taken during the training period and other details. Manchester United even made more than 10 revisions to the relevant documents for this return plan, which shows the importance it attaches to it.

However, on the eve of announcing Greenwood's return, United have come under immense pressure from all sides. Staff, fans, politicians and domestic violence charities expressed their displeasure and protest at the decision. In particular, there was widespread criticism and controversy when it was revealed that United regarded domestic violence charities as "hostile" to Greenwood's return.

Faced with this series of pressures and challenges, Manchester United's senior management had to hold an emergency meeting to reassess the situation. After careful consideration, United finally decided to change its position and announced that Greenwood would continue his career outside Old Trafford. The decision was difficult, but United said it was based on the evidence available and a comprehensive consideration of the views of all parties.

United manager Jens Ten Hagar was originally a staunch force in favor of Greenwood's return. He had said last year that he would be ready to play Greenwood once he returned. In a recent interview, Ten Hagar also revealed that before the Greenwood incident, he originally considered Greenwood to be the first choice for the right winger position. However, due to Greenwood's continued absence, United had to sign Anthony from Ajax for €100 million to fill the void.

The whole Greenwood affair has been full of twists, turns and controversy. For Manchester United, it was a difficult decision that required weighing multiple interests and considerations. However, no matter what, this incident has once again reminded the soccer world and the community of the seriousness and sensitivity of domestic violence and sexual assault allegations. We look forward to more justice and transparency in dealing with such incidents in the future, and hope that all victims will receive the support and protection they deserve.
