Manchester United's young striker Hejir is set to complete a loan move to League One side Wigan Athletic, according to a new report in the Manchester Evening News, a decision that marks a new start in the 20-year-old's career. Hedgill was originally scheduled to showcase himself on United's pre-season tour, but has now ended that trip ahead of schedule in preparation for a new challenge at Wigan Athletic.

Hedgill had a good pre-season for Manchester United, especially playing well against Rangers on Saturday, helping his team to a 2-0 win. He also played 45 minutes in United's defeat against Rosenborg, showing his strength and potential. Nevertheless, due to the fierce competition within the team, Hedgill has yet to get a chance to play in United's official matches, which has forced him to seek for a loan in order to gain more match experience.

Hedgill had been on loan at Burton in January this year and made his debut and scored a goal against Derby County. However, in the following 18 matches, he only scored once again, making his loan spell at Burton a bit dull. Despite this, Hedgill didn't give up and continued to improve his ability and ability through relentless hard work and training.

Hegel has signed a new contract with Manchester United until 2026 and includes an option to extend his contract for an additional year. This is a testament to how much United value and expect from him. Last season, Hegir was listed on the bench four times by manager Ten Hagar, and although he failed to get a chance to play, he always maintained his love and pursuit of soccer.

New Manchester United assistant coach Fanny has high hopes for Hegir, and he was photographed congratulating and coaching the young striker after the match. Vanney's affirmation has certainly added to Hergill's confidence and motivation. Hegir joined United from Sunderland in 2020, and at the age of 16, he showed remarkable talent and potential. He was also part of United's 2022 FA Youth Cup winning team, contributing to the team's victory.

With the arrival of Zielkezi and the rapid development of young players such as Hoylén and Whitley, Hergill's chances of playing at United became more limited. As a result, another loan has become an inevitable choice for his career development. Wigan Athletic, as a League One team, will provide Hergill with more playing opportunities and a platform for training. It is believed that under the training of Wigan Athletic, Hegir will grow up quickly and is expected to return to Manchester United and occupy a place in the first team in the future.
