Consideration is being given to introducing

of defensive midfielder Youmand. United had hoped to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Ugarte this summer, but the deal stalled after the two clubs failed to agree on a transfer fee, with Paris insisting on a €70 million price tag for the player.
To that end, United have turned their attention to Sporting Portugal's Danish midfielder Jurmand. Jurmand, whose contract expires in 2028, is valued at €40 million on the German transfer market. Last season, Jurmand played 49 games for Sporting Portugal, scoring four goals and dishing out four assists, totaling 3,537 minutes of playing time.
