To its defenders

The asking price has reached 20 million euros. Inter are planning to bring in a left-footed defender this summer and have taken a keen interest in Nantes' 19-year-old defender Zezé.

Zézé, who holds French and Ivorian citizenship, made 13 appearances in Ligue 1 last season and his performances have caught Inter's attention. Previously, Inter had made a bid of 13 million euros (including transfer fee and bonuses) for Zézé, but the offer was rejected by Nantes.

InterNews.com points out that although Zezé is not a non-sale item for Nantes, Nantes will only be willing to release him if they receive an offer of 20 million euros. Therefore, Inter will need to prepare a large sum of money if they want to sign the promising star.

Inter's new owners, the Oak Tree Foundation, are very positive about Zezé and believe he fits the club's reinforcement strategy. The Oak Foundation sees Zézé's potential and believes he can make a huge contribution to the team's future.

It remains to be seen how this potential transfer deal will play out. What is certain, however, is that Inter will need to make a bigger adjustment in their offer if they hope to successfully bring in Zezé. Fans are also looking forward to see if the young defender can finally join the team and bring new hope and strength for the new season.
