Initial contact was made with Barcelona. Riyadh Crescent are interested in signing the young player on loan plus an option to buy out.
Longari notes that Riyadh Crescent are very interested in Roque and have probed the feasibility of a loan + option to buy out deal package. However, Barcelona are only willing to negotiate a permanent transfer and will not accept a loan + buyout deal. Furthermore, Riyadh Crescent have yet to agree personal terms with Roque.
Roque's contract with Barcelona will run until 2031. In the last season, Roque appeared in 16 games for Barcelona, scoring 2 goals and accumulating 353 minutes of playing time. Despite his limited appearances, Roque's performance on the field drew attention.
Riyadh Crescent are looking to strengthen their forward line by bringing in Roque, but further negotiations are still needed with Barcelona and Roque on the form of the deal and the player's personal terms. It remains to be seen how this potential transfer will develop.
