According to the latest report from La Gazzetta dello Sport, Dutch striker Depay's agent has recently recommended his client to Inter Milan president Marotta, and the Blue and Blacks are now seriously considering whether to sign the free agent attacker. Depay has been actively looking for a new owner after leaving Atletico Madrid, during which there have been rumors with AC Milan and other teams, but ultimately the red and black army chose to sign Morata, so that Depay's road to transfer is once again in the unknown.

Depay wants to get a stable starting position and an annual salary of 5 million euros after tax in the new owner, while his agent also put forward the request to pay a certain commission and signature fee. These conditions make Inter face a lot of pressure in the negotiation. However, more crucially, Inter need to sell one of their strikers in the next 15 days to free up salary space and transfer places before they can formally open negotiations with Depay on his signing.

However, Depay is not Inter's first choice for current forward line reinforcements. In fact, Inter preferred to sign Genoa's Gudmundsson, but the Icelandic international is also facing competition from a number of clubs, including Stuttgart and Bournemouth. In addition, Inter and Genoa have yet to agree on a transfer fee, and Gudmundsson is still in the middle of a lawsuit, all of which adds uncertainty to the deal.

On the other hand, Inter are also actively dealing with the future of other players in the team. Among them, Calboni is being considered by the Blue and Blacks to be sent out on loan as they failed to receive an offer that meets their psychological expectations. This move is expected to free up more salary space and transfer resources for Inter to facilitate possible subsequent reinforcement moves.
