According to Nottingham Forest officials on Jan. 1, the team exercised a one-year extension option on Harry Toffolo's contract, extending the left back's contract through the summer of 2025.

Tovero, 28, joined Nottingham Forest from Huddersfield in the summer of 2022 and has made 35 appearances for the side so far. Tovero has contributed one goal and three assists in 113 games this season. Last month, he scored Nottingham Forest's first career top-flight goal against Wolves.

Tovero said, "I'm delighted to have the opportunity to stay here for a longer period of time and continue to wear the Nottingham Forest crest with pride."
