As the top seed of Mixed Doubles event in this Olympics, Wang Chuqin/Sun Yingsha showed strong strength and tacit cooperation in the match. In the first set, although the Egyptian pair once reduced the difference to two points, Wang Chuqin/Sun Yingsha took two points in a row with their stable play at the critical moment and took the first set 11-7.
In the second set, the two teams exchanged the lead in the beginning, but Wang Chuqin/Sun Yingsha made another push at the critical moment, scoring three consecutive points to build up a lead. Despite the Egyptian team's persistent pursuit, the "Sha head" team didn't give their opponents too many chances, and won another set with 11-8.

In the fourth set, the "Sha Tou" team continued their good form and took a 5-0 lead at the beginning. As the game progressed, Wang Chuqin/Sun Yingsha gradually widened the score difference and finally ended the game with 11-3.
The victory of Wang Chuqin/Sun Yingsha not only showed their great strength in the Mixed Doubles event, but also made a good start for the Chinese Table Tennis Team in this Olympics.
