Wigan Athletic
The soccer club has officially announced that it has reached an agreement with Premier League giants Manchester United for 20-year-old winger
Hughill (name)
will be based on
leasehold
form to join the team for one season. The young striker had previously made his mark in United's youth system, but opted to go out on loan in order to gain more first-team experience.
Hugill was sent out on loan by Manchester United to Burton Albion for the second half of last season, where he showed his potential, making a total of 18 appearances and picking up one goal and three assists. Despite the low goal tally, his performances have caught the attention of a number of clubs, Wigan Athletic being one of them.
Wigan Athletic welcomed Hugill to the club by posting a poster for him on their official social media. The club believes that Hugill's arrival will add firepower to the team's attacking line, while his youth and potential bodes well for the future.
