In a recent interview, Manchester United striker Louis Saha has been outspoken in his criticism of the performances of the team's new signing, Mason Mount. Saha believes that despite carrying the fans' expectations of changing United's poor season, Munter has not actually performed to the expected level.

Saha pointed out that Munter missed some of last season's matches due to injury, but also failed to show his full strength and grit in the matches he did play. He emphasized that Munter is under immense pressure, both from his own strength, price and status, as well as from the high expectations of United fans. However, Saha believes that Munter's few flashes of brilliance in pre-season have not carried over into the official matches, raising concerns about his future performances.

Even more worrying for Saha is Munter's apparent lack of ability to create attacking chances. He mentions that United severely lacked midfielders who could create more chances for the strikers last season, and Bruno Fernandes was pretty much the only one who was able to do so on a consistent basis. According to Saha, this is not a situation United would like to see, as the team needs more attacking firepower and creativity to support the play of the forward line.

Speaking about potential solutions for Manchester United, Saha mentioned the name of Javi Simmons. He praised Simmons for playing at the highest level and being able to contribute goals and assists, which is exactly what United lacked last year. While Saha did not directly call for United to bring in Simmons or other similar players, the implication was clear: United need a midfielder who can create more chances for the strikers to bolster the team's attack.
