As Manchester United is about to usher in a pre-season match against Arsenal in Los Angeles, USA, the team's manager, Jens Ten Hagar, attended a press conference to give his views on topics such as this summer's reinforcements, his feelings about staying in the job as well as the status of the team's core player, Marcus Rashford.

On this summer's recruitment efforts, Ten Hag said: "Our goal is to make the team as strong as possible. I'm glad we've managed to sign two very good players who will undoubtedly strengthen our squad. However, I am well aware of the uncertainty in the game of soccer, where injuries can happen at any time, so depth in the squad is crucial. We are actively looking to strengthen in all positions to ensure that we are at our best whatever the situation. The center back position is a particular point of focus for us, and while we have made gains, we will continue to work hard if better opportunities present themselves. We have time to further improve the squad until the transfer window closes."

Talking about his feelings about staying on after winning the FA Cup, Ten Hagar appeared both humble and confident: "I have always believed in my ability and the way I work, and it's a great affirmation for me to be able to lead the team to win the FA Cup this time. But this is just the beginning, we will face even bigger challenges in the new season. I won't dwell on past honors, but will use them as motivation to move forward. I am well aware that I am not alone, together with the players, the staff, the leadership and all those who support us, I am confident that we can achieve even greater success as long as we maintain the right vision and united efforts."

For the team's core player Rashford's form, Ten Hag gave a high evaluation: "I have full confidence in Rashford, I believe that he can return to the peak state of two years ago, and even beyond that himself. He has excellent talent and ability, as long as he stays focused and works hard, he will be able to become an important weapon in the team's offense."
