The latest news from LondonFootball.com reveals that Chelsea FC are still making a lot of moves in the summer transfer market, and they have considered Atletico Madrid's young striker Omorodion as their new target. The Blues hope to recruit Omorodion before he signs a new contract with Atletico Madrid, in order to further strengthen the team's attacking strength.

Although Chelsea have recently gone through a managerial change from Mauricio Pochettino to Maresca, it has not affected their positive attitude in the transfer market. This summer, Chelsea have managed to sign six new signings including Adarabi Oyo, Kelly Mann, Giroud, Dewsbury Hall, Renato Vega and Willy, and finalized the signing of Estevao William for next summer. Chelsea are also close to signing Anselmino from Boca Juniors and are interested in bringing in Villarreal goalkeeper Filip Joensen.

However, along with reinforcements, Chelsea have also had to deal with player attrition. The departures of players such as Matheson, Lewis Hall, Omari Hutchinson, Marlon Sarr, Ziyech and decorated veteran Thiago Silva have caused some changes in Chelsea's squad. In addition, players like Chalobah and Petrovic are also facing the possibility of leaving the club.

Nevertheless, Chelsea's pursuit of young talent has not stopped. Omorodion, a potential star of Atletico Madrid, has naturally become Chelsea's target. Although Atletico Madrid has twice rejected Chelsea's offer, Chelsea did not give up, they want to complete the transfer before the young center forward returned to Spain. It is reported that Atletico's valuation of Omorodion is as high as 59 million pounds, although this price is not unacceptable for Chelsea, but Atletico wants to set up up as high as 120 million euros in the new contract of the release clause, which undoubtedly increases the difficulty of the transfer.

However, considering Chelsea's big spending in the last few transfer windows, it is possible that they will throw in another big money to sign Omorodion. However, Omorodion is clearly lacking in the experience department when compared to players such as Enzo and Moises Caicedo who already have plenty of experience in the game. Therefore, Chelsea will also need to carefully consider Omorodion's adaptability and development potential when bringing him in.
