Napoli are said to have prepared a new formal offer aimed at recruiting the Scotland international to further strengthen the team's midfield.
Romano revealed on his personal social media platform, "Napoli are preparing to submit a new formal offer to Brighton, targeting midfielder Gilmour. It is worth mentioning that Gilmour himself is open to joining Napoli, which undoubtedly adds more positive factors to the deal."
Previously, Napoli had sent their first official offer to Brighton, but unfortunately, the offer did not meet Brighton's expectations and was therefore rejected.
